The second largest island of the Aeolian Archipelago (which includes Lipari, Filicudi, Alicudi, Panarea, Stromboli and Vulcano), Salina has two mountains crossed by scenic routes that are ideal for hiking – Monte dei Porri and Fossa delle Felci - and which give it its characteristic camel shape.

There are only 200 inhabitants and few tourists, so don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a truly local flavor and unforgettable nature.

Be sure to visit Spiaggia di Pollara, where the movie “Il Postino” was filmed, located inside an old volcano, now inactive; Spiaggia dello Scario and Spiaggia di Rinella, a quaint crescent with black volcanic sand.

Set sail around Salina, discovering volcanic slabs scattered along its shores, such as Scoglio Cacato, Capo Faro and Punta Persiato.
