Day 1: Bodrum

Bodrum is one of the Turkey's most popular coastal resort towns. White-washed houses decorated with colourful bougainvillea drape the slides of low, rounded hills leading down the harbour. A magnificient Crusader's Castle stands proudly on a rocky promontory overlooking the marina. This is the heart of the Bodrum, where tourists flock to witness the town's famous nightlife as much as to experience its impressive history, Heredotus, the father of history, was born here when the place was known as "Halicarnassos". The Mauseloum of Halicarnassos was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and it is possible to visit the remains of the monumental tomb along with the "Myndos Gate", the antique theatre and the Castle of the Knight of St. John. Exploring the castle, which houses one of the largest museum of underwater archaelogy in the world, is very relaxing in the cooler hours of the day.

Board the yacht and set sail for the island just off the coast known as Kara Ada or "Arkonessus" in ancient times. The water here is exceptionally clear and so after you have swum or snorkelled, enjoy a walk to the church and the citadel. If you like to idea of soaking in natural mineral water, the sulphur springs, where the water is very pleasant 32 degrees Celsius, are just a short walkaway here on the island.

Day 2: Kos

After breakfast and a swim, sail for the Greek island of Kos.

Kos is the second largest island of the Dodecanese and list just off the coast of Turkey, just a short distance from the port of Bodrum. The island is synonymous with the forefather of modern medicine, Hippocrates who was born here in 460 BC and went on to teach many disciples the philosophy and science of medicine. Hippocrates's disciples in turn built in Asclepeion, a centre for healing. Understandably, this is the best archaeological site on the island, and we recommend that you take in a short visit to appreciate one of the Western world's first true hospitals and medical schools. The other main attractions on the island are the large Knights' fortress, the Kos Archaeological Museum, the Hippocrates Cultural Centre, and the Roman Odeon, which is jsut 10 minutes walk from the harbour.

There are many different choices for dining out tonight so try one of the traditional-style tavernas on the waterfront and round off the evening with a walk through Kos bazaar. Overnight in Kos Harbour.

Day 3: Symi

A leisurely morning cruise takes you across to Greek island of Symi where the first port of call is the Bay of Panormitis. The bay is home to a seafront monastery known as the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Taxiarchis Mihail Panotmitis.

It was built in 18th century Venetian style and is said to have one of the highest baroque bell towers in the world. The village alsa has a good local bakehouse where you can buy some local cookies and apple pies.Later in the day, sail up the eastern side of the island and into Symi's main harbour "Yialos"

This is the one of the beautiful Greek ports in all of Greecei lined with beautifully restored neo-classical houses, colourful shops and boutiques, Greek tavernas and eateries and much more. Go ashore to explore the town at leisure.

Day 4: Rhodes

The walls of the medieval Crusader Castle of the Knights of St. John are visible for the Colonna Harbour where you will moor and are quite a sight to behold.

Take a stroll through the Rhodes "Old Town" - a blusting place with shops of all descriptions, restaurants, cafes, bars and eateries. The shopping in Rhodes is a entertaining as you please and the history of the island is also bound to impress.

After lunch back on your yacht, take an afternoon guided tour through the local Archaeological Museum and the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of St. John.

Tonight, dine ashore in a typical Greek taverna before setting of to experience the town's colorful nightlife.

Day 5: Marmaris & Ekincik Bay

A stop in a beautiful town of Marmaris is needed for custom formalities. Once everything is done, set sail for Ekincik, a large bay surrounded by pine forested hills and one of the most scenic anchorages along the coast.

Moor beneath the pines on the eastern side of the bay and relax with a refreshing swim before sundowners on the aft deck. Dine ashore tonight at the ever-popular "My Marina" restaurant, nestled in thje forest and yet high enough on the hill to afford fabulous views out over Ekincik Bay.

Day 6: Ekincik & The Dalyan River / Ancient Caunos Tour

Wake up in Ekincik Bay. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a refreshing swin - in the Mediterranean!! - before embarking on a day trip to Dalyan and ancient Caunos.

Boarding a small riverboat, you will journey along a craggy, intended coastline and then turn inland, through the mounth of the Dalyan river. Once past the sandy spit of Iztuzu beach, its a short ride through the reed-lined channels of the delta to the ruins of ancient Caunos. Iztuzu beach is also known as Turtle Beach as it is one of the last remaining breeding grounds for the rare Loggerhead sea turtle. The ruins of Caunos are found below a hill topped with the acropolis - an exhilarating ascent rewarding the climber with an amazing view of the surrounding area. See the excavated ruins of a theatre, an early Byzantine church, Roman baths and closer to the ancient harbour, an Agora and temples -- both of which are currently the site of much activity as excavation work continues. En route to the town of Dalyan, you will pass under a set of Lycian rock tombs high on the cliff face overlooking the river. These tombs date back 400 - 600 BC and are the finest example of their type to be found anywhere. Enjoy a riverside lunch of freshly caıght fish and local seafood delicacies before a stroll through Dalyan town. On the return trip, you may like to stop by at the sandy beach, Iztuzu and take a refreshing dip in the warn water of the Mediterranean.

Day 7: The Gulf of Fethiye & Gocek

To Gocek, stopping along the way to view some of the pretty bays in the Gulf of Fethiye. Drop anchor for lunch in Kizilkuyruk Harbour. Go swimming and kayaking in the shallows off Domuz Island.

Take a short hike ashore to view the rock tombs of Tomb Bay - or just relax with a book on the shaded aft deck.

By late afternoon, your yacht will be moored on Gocek's town quay. Gocek is a pretty town with a suprising variety of shops and places to dine. Dine ashore or enjoy a final nights's dinner on board but either way, take time out to experience Gocek by night.

Day 8: Farewell to Gocek

Disembark in Gocek after breakfast.
